The Timpson Family originated in Northamtonshire, England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family history starts with Henry Timpson, born in Ringstead in Northamptonshire in 1789. Henry marries Ann Eagle and they have six children; Frances, Mary Ann, Thomas, John, Henry, who dies, and another Henry. This last Henry (TE6) is the main character in the move to New Zealand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family history covers the lives of Frances, Mary Ann and Thomas. It also covers the life of William H C Groome (GT1). William was the son of Frances Timpson. William was an illustrator, author, artist and borough councillor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
